The Best Paris
Elopement Locations
Updated for 2026-2027

Before You Choose Your Paris Elopement Location
Dear Bride (I’m pretty sure it’s you reading this)
As one woman to another, I want you to know how excited I am for you.I know that, while this is a journey you’ll share with your partner, so much of the dreaming, imagining, saving inspiration, and thinking about all the little details often begins with you. And honestly… I love that part.
Over the past 10 years, I’ve photographed and filmed love stories around the world, documented countless Paris elopements for couples from every corner of the globe, and spent 16 seasons filming at Paris Fashion Week, where I learned to notice the little details that make something feel effortlessly beautiful.
Everything I’ve learned from real wedding days, years behind the camera, and life here in Paris is woven into this guide.
My hope is that it feels less like reading another wedding blog and more like we’re sitting together over coffee, dreaming about your wedding day. Talking through ideas, imagining possibilities, answering your questions, and finding the little details that will make your celebration feel unmistakably yours.
So take your time, get inspired, dream big, and if something sparks an idea or raises a question, I’d love to hear about it. It would be such a joy to help you create a Paris elopement that’s every bit as beautiful, meaningful, and unique as your love story.
In this guide, I’m sharing my favorite Paris elopement locations for couples looking for beautiful public ceremony spots.
“It felt like stepping into our own Parisian love story. Every moment was intentional, beautiful, and deeply personal. We didn’t just get married in Paris, we experienced it.”

1. Seine River Eiffel Tower View
The Best Public Location for an Eiffel Tower Elopement
When most couples dream of a Paris elopement, they’re picturing the Eiffel Tower.
If that’s part of your vision, Port Debilly is the public location I recommend most.
What makes it special isn’t just the iconic view, it’s how peaceful it feels. With the Seine behind you, your background stays beautifully clean, free from passing crowds, while the open space makes it easy to find a quiet spot for an intimate ceremony. There’s no busy road beside you, very little traffic noise, and plenty of room to slow down and enjoy the moment.
One of my favorite things about this location is its flexibility. You can arrive in a vintage French car, create a beautiful floral ceremony setup, exchange your vows with your Paris elopement officiant, or celebrate afterward with a champagne toast and wedding cake overlooking the Eiffel Tower. Maybe you will
Depending on the experience you’re planning, many of these elements can be included in your Paris Elopement Package

Things You Won’t Notice Until You’re There
On Google Maps this place looks like just another riverside spot.
In reality, it’s one of the few public places in Paris where you can comfortably hold a symbolic ceremony, celebrate with champagne afterward, invite a few guests, and still create photographs that feel intimate rather than crowded.
These Paris elopement locations all offer a different atmosphere, depending on your vision.

2. Bir Hakeim Bridge
One of the most cinematic locations in Paris
Bir-Hakeim bridge is one of the most iconic and cinematic locations in Paris. Famous for its appearance in Inception, it combines elegant bridge architecture, classic Parisian buildings, and beautiful Eiffel Tower views in one place.
What I love most is the variety. After your ceremony, we can stay in the same area and capture completely different looks—from the bridge’s steel arches and charming Parisian architecture to the Seine riverbank and panoramic Eiffel Tower views. It feels like several locations in one.
There’s also enough space for a vintage French car, which looks stunning against the bridge’s architecture.
The only downside is the traffic. Since it’s an active bridge, it can get noisy later in the day, so I always recommend photographing here at sunrise for the most intimate experience.

MY PERSONAL NOTE
If I had to choose one location for couples who love fashion, cinema, and iconic Paris, this would be it. Every time I shoot here, I come home with a gallery that feels elegant, timeless, and unmistakably Parisian.

Editorial portraits, intimate ceremonies, luxury city weddings
HIGHLIGHTS
Quiet courtyard • Beautiful soft light • Timeless architecture • No traffic
3. Palais Royal
Timeless & classy & elegant
If the Eiffel Tower isn’t your priority for the ceremony, Palais Royal is one of the most elegant public locations in Paris. Surrounded by beautiful limestone architecture and its iconic black-and-white columns, it has a timeless, editorial feel that never goes out of style. The enclosed courtyard creates a peaceful atmosphere, with no traffic and very little noise, making it perfect for an intimate ceremony.
One of the things I love most as a photographer and videographer is the light. The warm stone reflects soft, flattering tones onto your skin, creating beautiful, natural portraits throughout the morning.
Another reason I recommend Palais Royal so often is that it’s one of the best public locations in Paris for unpredictable weather. Its covered arcades provide elegant shelter from the rain, allowing us to continue photographing without sacrificing the atmosphere. It’s especially beautiful during the cooler months, making it one of my favorite choices for autumn and winter elopements.

MY PERSONAL NOTE
I rarely think of Palais Royal as a standalone location. Instead, I love including it as part of a wedding day. It pairs beautifully with the Louvre, the Seine, or even the Eiffel Tower, allowing you to experience several sides of Paris without spending the whole day traveling across the city.

HIGHLIGHTS
Two unique ceremony spots • Covered arcades • No traffic • Beautiful architecture
4. louvre
Grand • Iconic • parisian
The Louvre is one of the most iconic places in Paris, but what many couples don’t realize is that it offers two completely different experiences.
The first is the famous Louvre Courtyard, surrounded by magnificent architecture and the Glass Pyramid. With no traffic and beautiful open space, it creates an elegant, peaceful atmosphere that’s perfect for portraits. If the weather changes, the covered arcades provide a beautiful place to continue your session without losing the Parisian feel.
Just a short walk away is my favorite ceremony spot, where the Louvre and the Pyramid become part of the background rather than the entire scene. It feels more intimate, offers plenty of space for a symbolic ceremony, and is ideal if you’d like to include flowers or invite a small group of guests.
One of my favorite ways to use this location is to exchange vows in the quieter ceremony spot, then walk into the Louvre Courtyard afterward for timeless editorial portraits. It feels like two completely different locations while staying within the same beautiful setting.

MY PERSONAL NOTE
The Louvre is perfect for couples who love architecture and timeless elegance. Rather than spending your entire wedding here, I often include it as one stop during the day, combining it with Palais Royal, the Seine, or the Eiffel Tower to create a wedding gallery with incredible variety.
